How the Home Equity Agreement program Mend offers is licensed, and by whom.
State Licenses
Mend Solutions is the brand through which Barastone’s Home Equity Agreement program is offered. Barastone is the named counterparty on the Agreement and is the licensed party; Mend Solutions, Inc. does not itself hold state lending licences, and a Home Equity Agreement is not a mortgage loan except as required by applicable state law.
The program operates in California only, under Barastone’s California real estate licence. Barastone, Inc., California DRE Licence No. 02041750.
